Our Mission

The Judeo-Christian Foundation is established to promote the branch of Christianity that emerged into the English-speaking world during the reign of Queen Elizabeth I of Great Britain in the late 1500s, as part of the non-conformist Reformation movement based strictly on the doctrinal principle of Sola Scriptura — by both the Old and New Covenant Scriptures only, rather than in reliance on Roman Catholic church traditions (Matthew 4:4; John 17:17; Matthew 15:3-9). This form of Christianity was originally established with the followers of Jesus Christ shortly after his death and subsequent resurrection from the dead. The inception of the first century church is dated to the Day of Pentecost, when the disciples and apostles of Christ were gathered together and the Holy Spirit was poured out on them as tongues of fire giving them Spiritual gifts and understanding (Acts 2).

Widely shared, and distinctive outward characteristics of this Judeo-Christian religious movement include, among others:
• Preaching the Gospel of the Kingdom of God (Mark 1:14; Luke 19:11-27).
• Formal definition of sin as the transgression of Biblical law (1 John 3:4).
• Adult baptism by full immersion in water upon repentance from sin and conversion in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit (Matthew 3:13-17, 28:18-20; Romans 6:3-19).
• Observance of the Hebrew calendar’s weekly Seventh-day Sabbath (Luke 4:16-19; Hebrews 4:9) and the annual Sabbaths as Christ and the Apostles taught by example and word in the Scriptures. These liturgical holydays inaugurated initially in the Old Covenant Scriptures of Leviticus 23 and Deuteronomy 16 found their full expression revealed in the New Covenant Scriptures and are embraced for worship and for teaching God’s plan for humanity. These annual holy celebrations include Passover (Mark 14:22); Unleavened Bread (1 Corinthians 5:6-8); Pentecost (Acts 2:1); Feast of Trumpets (1 Corinthians 15:50-54; 1 Thessalonians 4:16); Day of Atonement (Acts 27:9; Hebrews 9:11-28); Feast of Tabernacles/Last Great Day (John 7:1-14, 37; Revelation 7:9-17; Revelation 20:4-6, 11-14).

The Judeo-Christian Foundation will advance its religious understanding based on the Old and New Covenant Scriptures by using all publishing and communication methods, whether digital or analogue or print, by means known or not yet invented, to distribute its created religious content including sermons and other audio-visual presentations to both Canada and the world.

As an example of the activities that we propose to undertake, we will continue to use the Internet to advance the dissemination of our Judeo-Christian religious message. Presently, our website http://cogwebcast.com/ is our flagship effort. COG Webcast is a digital platform on which we distribute our weekly live streaming video sermons with live chat back and archived sermons available as either streamed video or, in the near future, as streamed MP3 audio on demand as a free public service to those with either PCs or mobile internet-enabled devices such as smart phones or tablets. In an activity related to this Internet broadcasting, we also propose to make our content available on either DVDs or CDs so that members of the public without access to broadband Internet connections or computers can access it. If you are interested in receiving a DVD or CD of our these archives please contact us here and give us the link to the content you would like a copy of and your address. We would be glad to send it to you.

We intend, additionally, to create a variety of content formats for our message whether as feature-length documentaries, or as an hour or half-hour series, as well as a series of short 30-second to 1-minute videos to be used like TV ads, or motion billboards for the Kingdom of God. These can be placed on video platforms like YouTube or Google’s in-stream video advertising to attract viewers to our websites.

We will also write a regular blog(s) with its (their) own website(s). An example of our current weekly column is at http://www.theworldtomorrow.ca This blog is also placed on the cogwebcast.com site and has a subscriber list and moderated comment postings by readers. Subscriptions to The World Tomorrow and viewing the broadcasts at COG Webcast are all available to the general public and free of charge.

Another activity that we will undertake will be to hold religious worship services on weekly and annual Sabbath days in our local area.

We are also interested in holding public education/information seminars incorporating our created video content about Judeo-Christianity and its values. We look forward to bring this to Vancouver Island in 2012 with several public seminars part of our Millennium Series about the Kingdom of God.

In addition to the above-mentioned efforts to advance the Judeo-Christian religion, we will also develop charitable service projects, appropriate to our manpower, financial resources and religious perspective, which will help illustrate our ideals through concrete actions.
