Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you and lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the age. – Matthew 28:18-20

What did Christ ask his disciples to teach, then and now? The good news of course! The message about the Kingdom of God and Christ’s coming rule on earth. We teach by principle of Sola Scriptura, that is by scripture alone. Not only is hearing the word enough, but being a doer of the word, putting in to practice in our daily lives is essential.

But don’t just listen to God’s word. You must do what it says. Otherwise, you are only fooling yourselves. For if you listen to the word and don’t obey, it is like glancing at your face in a mirror. You see yourself, walk away, and forget what you look like. But if you look carefully into the perfect law that sets you free, and if you do what it says and don’t forget what you heard, then God will bless you for doing it. – James 1:22-25
